Technology and Innovation Support Center of the Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances named after acad. S.Yu. Yunusov of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (TISC)

was established on 01.12.2017 by agreement between the SUE "IP-CENTER" Training Center for retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of intellectual property and the Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of TISC in the Republic of Uzbekistan between the AIS RUz and WIPO.

List of TISC services at ICPS AS RUz:

- assisting in the search for technical and scientific information in the course of patent research based on databases;

- advising researchers on conducting searches in databases;

- advising on the preparation of applications for intellectual property objects;

- registration and filing of applications for intellectual property objects in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- conducting full office work with AIS on applications submitted from ICPS AS RUz.

In 2022, scientists of the ICPS of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan received 22 patents for OIP, 14 applications for OIP were submitted. The employees of the Institute took an active part in the seminar on IP objects held by the AIS staff at the ICPS of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan on September 8, 2022, as well as in the First National Symposium of the Technology and Innovation Support Centers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 11, 2022.
